CHANGING THE BRIDGE
REHAIRING THE BOW
REPAIRS
A high-quality bridge is important to the sound quality of stringed instruments. It must adapt to the shape and height of the strings to achieve good intonation and vibration. Each instrument needs a specific bridge to improve its sound.
The bow is important in stringed instruments. The natural horsehair is fundamental for a good bow, as it is resistant and flexible, which allows a proper vibration on the strings and a harmonic and sustained sound.
It is important to make repairs to musical instruments to maintain their sound quality and physical appearance. These repairs should be considered as a preventive measure that allows for the preservation of the instruments in optimal conditions.
ADJUSMENTS
Calibration of bowed stringed instruments is essential to produce a clear and expressive sound and to achieve a higher quality performance. It also provides greater comfort to the musician during the performance.
CRAFTING AN INSTRUMENT
The creation of an instrument is an artistic process that seeks a balance between technique and creativity to produce a unique sound. The Luthier is the artist responsible for the meticulous elaboration and modeling of each piece, from the choice of wood to the final details, to produce instruments that are true works of art.
CUSTUMIZED INSTRUMENTS
Custom instrument making is a practice that has developed over centuries in the history of music. This process consists of creating a unique musical instrument personalized to meet the individual musician's musical preferences and needs.
